BIOGRAPHY Yacov Golan has been a contributing member to the Marin community for over thirty years since his move from Israel in 1969. During his time in Israel, Mr. Golan earned a BS in Agricultural Science at The Rippin Institute in Natania. Mr. Golan also served as the Superintendent of the Kibbutz Kfar Glickson from 1965-1967 and as the Manager of OMEGA Industries from 1967-1969. While he was the Supervising Ranger of the County of Marin, from 1970-1997, Mr. Golan served on several Board of Directors, including the Marin Jewish Community Center, the Brandeis Day School (Marin Campus), Congregation of Kol Shofar, and the Jewish Community Relations Council, San Francisco. Mr. Golan is currently retired but still an active Board Member of the Friends of Marin Center, Marin County Retired Employees Association and Lawyers For One America.
